Action Against Hunger is an international humanitarian charity working in 43 countries worldwide. Their teams do their utmost day after day to ensure that people are given access to the most basic of human rights - the right to food.
The charity has been at the forefront of the fight against hunger and malnutrition for almost 30 years. Thanks to help from supporters, their expert fieldworkers can continue to save the lives of malnourished children on the brink of death.
Action Against Hunger provide emergency food aid, water and relief items to families who have lost everything in places such as Darfur, Sudan. They also help vulnerable communities to sustain themselves by providing much-needed tools and seeds, water to irrigate gardens, cattle, fruit and vegetable gardens. These are all simple, basic things but they make a difference, not just for a few days but for years to come.
