Meet The Team
Managing Director
Motivated by Greed and Fair Play, Henrietta has championed small businesses for years. Self-taught, she cooks a mean chicken and roast potatoes (with Goose Fat for extra richness) and eats Salad every day.
Marketing Director
Having worked for the Big Boys, Nicola now loves being on side with
smaller businesses. She shops in her local High Street, adores Scallops (hand-dived of course), taught to cook by her Austrian Mum & indulges in Salty Caramels.
Office Manager/Business Co-Ordinator
Kim loves to shop the old-fashioned way – vegetables from Riverford Organics, cheese from Neal’s Yard and meat from her local farmers market. Her top tip is to untie the legs on a roast chicken to speed up cooking. She is a serious chocoholic but can always find space for an almond macaroon.
Sales Development Manager
With experience in running her own restaurant in Brighton, Clare really knows her ingredients. She loves to shop at the Open Market there for traditionally-caught fresh fish to make her favourite comfort food – fish pie.
Editorial Assistant
Writing about food is all Jo has ever wanted to do. She shops at Islington Farmers Market, likes to cook a Sunday Roast with all the trimmings and her greatest extravagances are Champagne and Cheese with Epoisses (naughty Jo – choose English) her favourite.
Marketing Assistant
Taught to cook by her Mum and Grandma, Sarah’s favourite is anything and everything to do with Marzipan. She loves to bake Cakes, as they cheer everyone up (she keeps us cheerful) and cheats with Tomato Ketchup in Spag Bol.
Administrative Assistant
Taught by her Mum, Libby still lets her do most of the cooking (lazy Libby). She’ll spend hours making and decorating cakes and has never knowingly gone without pudding. Obviously sweet-toothed, she can’t resist artisanal chocolate makers.
Meeter & Greeter
Full of self importance and bustle, George is a key member of the team. His eating habits may leave a little to be desired (he will hoover anything up) but his heart is firmly in the right place and his friendliness knows no bounds. George is now a member of the Macmillan Dog Day Committee
