A staunch supporter of all things Cornish, Alison Waghorn enjoys meeting the people behind the products. She shops at her local butchers and greengrocers – and buys locally sourced or Fairtrade wherever possible. Her ultimate recipe is rice pudding, cooked in the Rayburn for a couple of hours and longs to eat shepherd’s pie  at The Ivy.
