Colin Pressdee, Freelance Food Writer

Colin Pressdee is a freelance food writer, broadcaster and consultant living in London with close ties to Wales. His particular interest is in natural and organic food from the land and sea. As such, over the years he has written articles for the Western Mail, The Times, Financial Times, Observer, Daily Post, BBC Good Food Magazine and many others.

His books include Welsh Coastal Cookery, Streetwise Cookery, Dining Out in Wales and Food Wales. He has been broadcasting over twenty years on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Television, ITV and UKTV Food’s Great Food Live. He won the Regional Writer Glenfiddich Award in 1990 and was short listed for the Guild of Food Writers Food Journalist Award in 2003.
