The Laverstoke Park Farm's Field to Fork Show 2010
- incorporating the British BBQ Championships - takes place this year on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July. You can turn up and purchase a barbeque and meat box and have your own barbecue while watching the pros sweat it out. Tickets are £6 per person, children under 8 are free.

We've picked out the following barbeque sites in parks and beaches around the UK, where you can either take along your own disposable barbecue or they provide you with a built-in barbeque on-site.

Many of Eastbourne's beaches allow barbecues, but check which ones do online before setting off.

Nene Park in Peterborough provides two barbecue sites, but you can also take your own, provided it has a stand.

Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire hires out their family bbq sites for various time slots, each with their own picnic table.

Lydiard House in Wiltshire hire out large and small barbecues for use during in the summer in their stunning grounds.

Anderwood, near Burley in the New Forest, is a classic woodland setting for a raised barbecue - they also hire out sites for larger barbecue parties.

Hayling Island in Havant allows barbecues on the boardwalks for a seaside outdoor feast.

West Wittering Beach in Sussex is completely unspoiled and they have areas designated for barbecue beach picnics.

Studland Beach in Dorset is wonderful for bracing walks along the beach or heathland before barbecuing lunch in their family area.
