Fight Hunger - Shop It's simple to get involved
 
Throughout September 2009 any FoodLovers Approved food shop - on or offline - can raise vital funds for humanitarian organisation Action Against Hunger. The charity works in over 40 countries to ensure that millions of the world's poorest people have access to the most basic of human rights - the right to food.

This brand new campaign invites all FoodLovers Approved food shops to unite in the fight against hunger. It aims to encourage consumers to support their local food shops whilst making a real difference to the world's hungry.
 

It's simple to get involved and there are plenty of benefits:

  • A high profile national and regional campaign encouraging consumers to shop in participating outlets
  • Media coverage in national and local press, working to provide you with the tools necessary for promoting your shop and increasing consumer traffic in September.
  • Free listing in FoodLoversBritain.com searchable directory FoodFinds plus extra listing in FoodLovers Against Hunger unique online directory
  • Opportunity for inclusion in FoodScoop, FoodLoversBritain.com monthly e-newsletter, circulation in excess of 20,000

You can become involved and support this worthwhile cause in one of the following ways:

  • Donate a percentage of sales from a designated item, or
  • Sell our celebrity-designed 'bags for life' for £3.50 with all proceeds going to charity, or
  • Host a special event such as a shopping evening, or
  • Add an optional amount to a designated item or a total shopping bill, eg 50p-£2
