Rebecca & Daniel Blackstone won a loyal following in Bath with their first venture, Blackstones Kitchen, a gourmet takeaway. Drawing on their experience as a chef & food stylist (Rebecca) and front of house for some of the finest restaurants in London (Daniel), they opened Blackstones Restaurant just across the cobbled street in Summer 2006. Already it has won plaudits from some of the UK’s top restaurant guides & reviewers. This relaxed Georgian townhouse is moments away from the bustling shops of the beautiful city of Bath. Inside, all is light & airy with stripped wooden floors & vibrant contemporary furnishings & artwork from local designers. Open for lunch, dinner & weekend brunch, there is also a floor of private dining.

The Blackstones ethos is to source the best local produce, preparing it simply & with care to create unfussy, nourishing, good value food. Blackstones trademark seasonal cooking embraces both traditional comfort food & dishes with more multicultural influences. The wine list is concise yet varied & all wines are available by the glass or carafe as well as bottle, allowing diners try something new.
