Embarking on its fourth year, and operating under the direction of eco-chef and founder Barny Haughton, Bordeaux Quay has become a well-loved Bristol institution.

Comprising a restaurant, brasserie, deli, bakery, wine bar and cookery school, Bordeaux Quay specialises in making the most of the best local, seasonal and organic ingredients available. It serves beautifully prepared food on the Bristol Harbourside, and is an ideal location for any meal out, from a work lunch or family party to a special wedding anniversary.

The light and airy Brasserie and Bar on the ground floor open onto a bright waterside terrace.  Its menu of excellent bistro classics changes to reflect the seasons and includes dishes such as handmade burgers and chips, moules marinière and risotto, with delicious puddings including traditional fruit crumbles, chocolate mousse and sticky toffee pudding.
It is open all day, from breakfast until dinner and, in addition to the lunch and dinner menu, it serves coffee and pastries, full breakfasts at the weekend, afternoon tea, children’s portions, excellent wines by the glass and a range of local ales and ciders.

The elegant Restaurant on the first floor has a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views over the harbour. Its sophisticated menu is inspired by the classic Mediterranean cuisine of France, Spain and Italy with dishes such as home-cured bresaola with rocket and parmesan and Provençale fish stew. It also offers a range of delicious handmade puddings and irresistible cheeses, as well as an extensive wine list.

The Deli has an extensive cheese counter and prepares delicious handmade sandwiches, it is stocked with beautiful bread, cakes, pastries and preserves prepared in Bordeaux Quay’s own kitchens and artisan bakery.

The Cookery School at Bordeaux Quay, which operates on a not-for-profit basis, runs short workshops and longer-term courses for adults and children as well as bespoke events for community groups, corporate clients and private parties.
