Family run business producing a wide range of cheese from their own organic dairy herd. They produce Clava, a brie-style cheese; traditional Scottish crowdie as well as hard cheeses such as Connage Dunlop and Smoked Dunlop - both made with unpasteurised milk and the latter smoked over whisky barrel shavings.
Connage Crowdie, won` Best Scottish Cheese 2008` at the British Cheese Award. Our award winning Crowdie or "heaven on a spoon" is made using traditional methods to produce a unique soft mousse-like fresh curd cheese. It is light and fresh tasting and can be used in so many ways - savoury and sweet. Spread it on a warm bagel and top with smoked salmon or on toast with raspberry jam. It is excellent for making cheesecakes or even add a spoonful on top of summer berries. It is 90% fat free cheese and you can freeze it for a short time, ideal at this time of year when space in the fridge is tight!

Connage Highland Dairy is situated on our family farm, Milton of Connage at Ardersier. The farm was started by our father Hamish Clark and is now farmed by us - Callum & Cameron, Jill & Eileen.
We constructed a state-of-the-art cheese dairy and, since January 2006, have been producing and selling a range of organic, handcrafted vegetarian cheeses, using traditional techniques.
All our products are fully traceable and we apply excellent quality controls from 'cow to cheese'. We can assure the highest standard of animal health, welfare and care for our cows, continuing the attention to detail into our cheeses.

The hard cheeses are hand cut and normally presented as a variable weight although net weights available on request.
