Gardening Course
Grow and Cook are offering a series of half-day courses aimed at gardeners who are interested in learning about new varieties of vegetables, and cooks who want to learn how to grow their own.
Based in West Dorset, looking out over Lyme Bay, you’ll spend the morning being given information on how to choose between different varieties, how to cultivate them, tasting and learning how to cook what you’ve grown.
As you may be outside some of the time, the courses are generally only held in the summer months. They will concentrate on anything from chillies (Sea Spring Farm is also home to Peppers by Post, Dorset’s chilli-growing centre so that’s probably a dead cert) to Thai, Indian or even Fusion.
