Polgoon was a derelict farm on the edge of Penzance when we discovered it in 2001, we managed to purchase the farm in 2002, not only was the farmhouse derelict but the outbuildings were all falling down too. We believe the original farmhouse dates back to 1803. Kim and John Coulson decided to make Polgoon the family home and have set about improving and renovating the property and restoring to its former pride.
In 2003 we decided to plant the first of the vines here at Polgoon. 3500 were planted on the South facing slopes at the back of Penzance.
Bob Lindo from Camel Valley has been instrumental in getting us started in the vineyard and also helped by making our first wines at Camel Valley.

At a recent event at the Eden project, Polgoon Vineyard was voted by the readers of Cornwall Life magazine as the Best Drinks Producer. Kim and John Coulson thank all the people who voted for them,and would also like to thank not only the organisers (Cornwall Life) but the sponsors as well.It was a truly fabulous evening which I think everyone there enjoyed.

Holiday Cottage

A beautifully appointed 3 bedroom holiday cottage is available for rent throughout the year,will sleep up to 6 people comfortably.The cottage has a fantastic built in solid wood kitchen sky tv,stereo ,three bedrooms one double,one twin and a family room.There are gardens to the side and a barbeque seating area to the front.
