Slow Food Celebrates Food which is Good, Clean and Fair.
As autumn sheds its last golden leaves, the light draws, we light the fire and we prepare for the winter. Slow cooking of casseroles, root vegetables pumpkins and dumpling.
Come and enjoy the Slow Food Harvest Market at Southbank Centre where we celebrate Halloween. Our select traders bring autumn game, rare breed meat, handmade sausgages, hand dived Dorset scallops and fresh fish, oysters, artisan cheeses, selective wines and beer, craft bread, single estate oils and vinegars, cakes and treats, British honey, jams, pickles and exotic spice blends.
Drop into the Slow Food Demo tent where we offer a range of free events with talks, cooking demonstrations and ‘taste’ workshops. Halloween fun with apple bobbing and pumpkin carving. We have guest chefs, Masterchef star Steven Wallis, Master butcher Farmer Sharp among others; learn how to fillet a fish, taste British oysters, special slow cooking, family meals for £5 and cooking with foraged food.
