Tarset Valley Marmalade is hand made by Charlotte Loyd in her farmhouse kitchen. It is made with with Spanish Seville Oranges, Lemons, Sugar and Black Treacle. The lemons give a mouth-tingling tang and the black treacle provide a caramel richness. The secret ingredient is the clear spring water from the hills of the beautiful North Tyne Valley in Northumberland.
Charlotte's marmalade has a loyal following locally and as far afield as Sir Ranulph Fiennes who says it is far and away the best. In the past it won the Daily Mail Taste Test award, beating several more famous names.
Available in 340g (12 oz) jars and in 1.5kg catering pails. Prices available on request.
