Are you looking for a new and inspiring food experience?
Have you ever wished you could go out into the countryside and collect your own mushrooms?
Do you see top chefs using wild ingredients and herbs and wonder where to find them?
Why not learn to forage for wild ingredients and create exciting menus with Taste the Wild.
Our courses are held in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. They range from one day taster sessions to weekend residential courses and cover foraging throughout the year in a range of landscapes, from mushrooming in the woods to fishing in the sea.
Come and find ‘food for free’ and learn to create great dishes with Taste the Wild tutor Chris Bax. Chris is a trained chef with fine dining experience but his love of nature and natural history inspired him to discover the wild food resources available to us. He now teaches not only how to find and identify exciting wild foods but also how to combine them with bought ingredients to produce great recipes.
Our courses make a great present for the 'Foodie' in your life and we have just launched our new Gift ideas page on the Taste the wild website.
