Over 90% of everything The Apple and Pear People sell is either produced in Norfolk or sourced from companies based here.
As our name implies we specialise in Norfolk grown Apples and Pears with up to 15 varieties available at any one time, including hard to find varieties like Norfolk Royal Russet, Suffolk Pink, Reverend Wilkes, Norfolk Royal (pictured) as well as widely available varieties such as Cox and Bramley.
In October we hold our annual “Apple Festival” when around 50 varieties of apples will be available to taste and buy along with 30 different Apple Juices. This year's festival starts on the 13th October and finishes on Saturday 25th October 9.00am – 5.00pm daily (closed Sunday 19th October)
We also sell locally produced Eggs, Flour, Milk, Honey, Jams, Marmalades, Chutneys and Fruit Vinegars, as well as a full range of Wholefoods.
For the garden we stock a wide range of Fruit Trees (Apples, Plums etc.) and Fruit Bushes (Currants, Gooseberries etc.) in addition to a selected range of Composts, Water Butts and a selection of Shrubs, Perennials, and Bedding Plants.
Our feathered friends are not forgotten. Sunflower seeds, Niger Seed, Wild Bird Seed and other feeds to see them through the year.
Norma and Francis James and all the staff will be pleased to assist you.
