The Harrow at Little Bedwyn, Marlborough, Wiltshire, is a restaurant that focuses on the glories of the British countryside. Roger has searched the whole of the British Isles for the finest free range natural products available. His most important concern is the wellfare of animals, and that they are brought up in their natural habitat.
All fish are line caught off Day Boats from Brixham Market in Devon, scallops are diver caught from Lyme Bay, Crabs delivered live from Torbay, Lobsters from the Isles of Scilly, Wild Salmon are caught by haaf nets near Glencaple on the estuary of the river Nith.
Pure bred Welsh Black Beef are sourced from near Lampeter in West Wales, along with various lamb (Milk fed, Mountain, Salt Marsh and New Season). Pork is sourced from Kelmscott Farm in Gloucestershire.
Roger is also reknown for his Truffle hunting skills, and sources some 60 or 70 kilos every season from a secret location in Wiltshire.
The Harrow at Little Bedwyn receiced its first Michelin Star in 2007, has 3 AA Rosettes, Taste of The West Gold Award (4 years in a row), AA Restaurant Wine List of The Year 2006, Decanter Restaurant of The Year 2008, Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence 2005 - 2007, Trophee Celebris Gosset, and highly rated in The Good Food Guide, Egon Ronay, Harden's etc.
